Two words. One crossing.

Click any tile to select its word. Click the middle tile to switch directions. Type a complete word into the tiles, then press Enter or Guess. Correctly placed letters stay green. The shared middle letter is shown in blue from the start to help you find both words. Letters that belong in the guessed word but are in the wrong spot turn gray in the board and your guess history. Gray board letters clear when you start typing your next guess. They also appear in the stack on the right, shared by both directions. Each letter appears once and disappears once you place it correctly in either word.

Solve both words with a shared total of 8 guesses for 5 letters, 10 for 7 letters, or 12 for 9 letters. Switch directions whenever you like. Each length has one puzzle per day, resetting at midnight Chicago time. Only dictionary words count; invalid entries don’t use a guess.
